'Written with art', 'A tu escala' and 'The URJC that is not seen' are the titles of the Cultural Promotion Contests that the Rey Juan Carlos University launched on the occasion of its 25th anniversary. The plastic arts, photography and short story competitions aim to promote culture among the university community.

III Plastic Arts Contest: 'Written with art'

Through this contest, various authors offered their literary works so that other members of the university community could illustrate them. All the designs have been free technique, and have been made on the first pages of the work, where the author of the book and the publisher appear. Thus there would be a variety of designs, since each book had very different measurements.

This year's winner was Ismael Corredor Perrone, with his short story 'Cafeteria? -What a joy!', Who, in addition, has obtained a prize of 500 euros for his writing.

For his part, Luis Nahuel, winner of the second prize of 300 euros, also wanted to thank him for the recognition he had been given and pointed out that in his illustration he wanted to reflect all the memories of a person from his time at the university. "The book that touched me was a collection of poems in which the person took a tour of all his memories of the university, in my drawing I wanted to qualify all the moments that he had lived."
