The rector, Javier Ramos and the representative of FREMAP, Javier Martínez Rodríguez signed an agreement yesterday Thursday that commits both entities to carry out projects and programs of a scientific nature.
Through this protocol they affirm "the will to respond with guarantee to the scientific challenge that society demands, with their mutual commitment to the permanent improvement of the quality of research, training and services". Likewise, "they are interested in collaborating together in order to comply with those stated purposes and therefore, to use their resources to produce and promote the objectives through different modalities of collaboration."
The General Protocol signed today is one year in duration and is extendable for up to a period of 3 additional years, by express agreement of the parties.
The joint activities that will be carried out have to do with the following categories:
- Cooperation and development projects or programs by signing the pertinent protocols for carrying out works of a scientific, technical or artistic nature under the provisions of article 83 of Organic Law 6/2001, of December 21, of Universities and the Statutes of the Rey Juan Carlos University.
- Technological diffusion and innovation programs.
A new agreement with which the URJC joins forces with a leader in its sector in order to better respond to the challenges posed by society.
