Open Days at the URJC

The Rey Juan Carlos University opens its campus to the public so that they can be visited by future university students.

Next Saturday, May 27, the URJC organizes a main Open Day for this upcoming academic year 2023-2024.

As every year, the Móstoles campus will be open to all students, family members and friends who want to see the URJC facilities in person and consult the academic offer of Degrees and Double Degrees that are taught in each of the Faculties and Schools. The hours will be from 11:00 a.m. to 14:30 p.m. and those who attend will be able to enjoy outdoor recreational activities, live music concerts and something to eat and drink for everyone.

The program for the day consists of a welcome and general presentation by the Vice-Rector for Students, Almudena López López, who will receive the attendees in the Aula Magna of the Aulario II on the Móstoles campus at 11:00 a.m. Between 11:30 a.m. and 13:00 p.m., there will be various information stands on the URJC Faculties, Schools and Services and, later, live music will begin.

Parallel to this day, the Fuenlabrada School of Engineering (EIF), the Faculty of Communication Sciences (FCCOM) and the Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FAAHH) celebrate their respective open days on Friday, May 26.

The EIF activity will take place in the Laboratorios III Building on the Fuenlabrada Campus at 18:00 p.m.; The FCCOM session will be simultaneously on the Madrid and Fuenlabrada campuses from 17:00 p.m. to 20:00 p.m. and the FAAHH session will be at the same time, simultaneously, on the Fuenlabrada and Aranjuez campuses.

As Pilar Serrano, coordinator of the URJC University Information and Orientation Service, has pointed out, "these Conferences are aimed at future students and their families who wish to come to meet and talk personally with URJC faculty and students, to clarify doubts and expand the information they need in their decision-making process to choose the Center and university degree”. In addition, she points out, this "is the best way to get to know our campus, facilities and services first hand and spend a great day enjoying it together with other young people and families."
