The QS-WUR Ranking is one of the most famous rankings on the quality of university education. In its 2024 edition, recently published, the URJC has managed to recover some places and once again rank among the 1000 best universities in the world, specifically in position 951-1000.

The reason for this good result is the fact that in the main ranking indicators that measure the performance of the institution, the URJC is positioned among the 600-700 best in the world. These are: academic reputation and reputation among employers, among the top 600; student/PDI ratio, appointments by PDI and International PDI ratio, among the 700 best. In what has to do with the ratio of international students, the Rey Juan Carlos University is in position 623.

Apart from this worldwide meter, the QS ranking also classifies at the national and Community of Madrid levels. In this edition, the URJC occupies the tenth national position in terms of international teaching staff and the eleventh in terms of sustainability.

As for other universities in the Community of Madrid, the URJC is the third in international professors and the fifth in Employer Reputation, which reflects the relationship between the university and the business world.

According to Diana Benito, URJC's deputy vice-rector for Quality and Strategy, "in general, we have risen positions compared to the last three years." In addition, she adds, "we have once again entered the top 1000 universities and we have improved 5 positions at the national level in the scale of employment results."

The vice-rector's office, explains Benito, "is working with deans, school directors and departments to continue improving as a university, both at a general level and in all indicators, so that next year even better results are achieved, if possible." ”.

Without a doubt, “it is a source of pride for the entire university community to situate ourselves in these positions that reflect the work of all these years. We hope the next year to continue placing ourselves among the best universities in the world”, concludes Benito.
