The URJC and the Juan XXIII Foundation renew their commitment

The two institutions will continue to collaborate within the framework of Unidiversidad, the ONCE Foundation's training project, together with the Francisco de Vitoria University (UFV). In the 22-23 academic year, Rey Juan Carlos and the Foundation collaborated on a program to develop sustainable green solutions.

The Rey Juan Carlos University and the Juan XXIII Foundation will collaborate again during the 2023-2024 academic year in the preparation of training programs.

During the 22-23 academic year, the Foundation and the URJC have collaborated through a title focused on improving public and private spaces through the development of sustainable green solutions. During the course, seventeen students have acquired knowledge about sustainability, biodiversity and green facilities adapted to the new needs of cities due to climate change.

Both this program and the one taught at the UFV have had teachers from the Juan XXIII Foundation, specialized in different subjects, as well as a psychosocial team in charge of guiding the students during the development of the training. In addition to theoretical training, the programs include a block of professional practices in which students can put their knowledge into practice in companies in the sectors in which they have been trained.

Another of the main attractions of the program is that part of the content developed in an inclusive manner, that is, students attend subjects of various degrees, such as computer science, biology or teaching.
