With the start of the new course comes a boost for the URJC from the university rankings. In this case, the 'QS World University Rankings: Europe 2024' places the institution among the 70 best universities in Southern Europe and in 331st place on the entire continent.
According to this classification, the Rey Juan Carlos University is positioned above the European average in indicators such as international students, international PDI, student reception, sending students to foreign universities and sustainability.
Regarding sending students outside of Spain, the URJC is ranked 72nd among all universities on the continent. The ranking also highlights the commitment of the Rey Juan Carlos University to sustainability, placing the university in position 117.
According to Diana Benito, Deputy Vice-Rector for Strategy, “This new ranking, which places us among the 70 best universities in southern Europe, highlights our commitment to sustainability and our internationalization. We belong to the first quartile of the best Spanish universities in indicators such as 'International Faculty', 'Outbound exchange students' or 'Sustainability'."
In Spain, this new report places the Rey Juan Carlos University in 26th position in the country.
