The meeting, which began this morning, will have another session next Wednesday, November 8.

The analysis of discourse in various of its manifestations is the axis around which this congress revolves, which aims to be a meeting point for prominent specialists in the international arena. 

The day presents a diversity of presentations since it has a high number of experts at both a national and international level. Among the invited academics we find figures such as the professor of the Università di Roma, Fernando Martínez de Carnero Calzada who will present his theory about 'Linguistics in the development of artificial intelligence and the uses of artificial intelligence in linguistics'.

On the second day of the event, the presentation by Ana Miguel de Álvarez, professor in the area of ​​Moral Philosophy at the URJC, and her presentation titled “The voice of women: analysis and criticism of 'the double truth'” stands out.

The meeting will be chaired by the rector of the University, Javier Ramos, who will be accompanied by Fernando del Villar Álvarez, dean of the FCEDEI and by Alberto Hernando García-Cevigón, director of the event. 

The closing of the congress will be carried out by María Azucena Penas Ibáñez, coordinator of the Latin-Roman Semantics group at the UAM and research member of the 'Lexicography Group (GLEX)' of the University of La Coruña and the 'Japan Group' of the Zaragoza's University.
