The event consists of a workshop in which students of the Fundamentals of Architecture degree at the URJC present their projects to rethink the circulation of visitors to the Book Fair.

This contest is held with the intention that the selected students can carry out an idea to improve the design of the distribution of the stands, pavilions and booths that are part of the literary exhibition. The bases of this contest are aesthetics, sustainability and energy efficiency.

These sessions have been organized by Enrique Parra Albarracín and Irene Ros Martín, professors in the Architectural Construction Area of the Fuenlabrada School of Engineering. The Chair of Circular Economy and the Green Office, both from the URJC, also participate in this event.

The selected projects will be exhibited within the framework of the 2024 Book Fair to be held in El Retiro Park, in the city of Madrid.

In this edition, the organizer of the event is grateful that: “due to the work of David García-Asenjo, researcher in the Emerging Processes and New Techniques group, between history and architecture at the URJC, we have been able to collaborate with the Book Fair of Madrid".
