More than 100 awarded students from the 2021-2022 promotion attended the award gala seeks to reward academic excellence in their respective Degrees and Double Degrees.

The event held this Thursday, November 30, was chaired by Javier Ramos, rector of the URJC, Pilar Trinidad, general secretary of the university and Almudena López, vice-rector of Students at the university. The presentation of diplomas began with a few words from the rector, explaining how the event works, and then passing the baton to the general secretary, in charge of appointing the award-winning students to go up to collect the recognition.

The ceremony was attended by the different deans of the faculties and schools, who were in charge of delivering the diploma to the award-winning students. The relatives and/or companions of the students attended the event held in the Rector's Assembly Hall, on the Móstoles campus.

The event continued with the rector presenting José Antonio Toledo García, one of the graduates for his outstanding record, who dedicated a few words on behalf of all the award-winning students. The student has taken the opportunity to highlight the difficulty of obtaining the prize and assure that "curiosity can predict our future." He has also reviewed the work of the university and its professors during the pandemic, showing gratitude for their dedication, to Finally, thank the families and friends of the winners for their support.

The event concluded with a few words from Javier Ramos, rector of the URJC, stating “what an honor it is to have such excellent students”, dedicating part of the speech to the students who were not able to attend the ceremony. The rector took the opportunity to congratulate and value all the effort applied by the winners, praising the different qualities that have led them to obtain this recognition. “You can be the ones who design, build and improve the world in the future. Be the protagonists of change and share it,” said Javier Ramos, who, to conclude, wished the winners the best in their future work.
