This is a teaching innovation project in which the entire URJC university community, as well as all citizens, can participate. Participants must write a story of a maximum of 350 words and contextualize it in the university libraries. In addition, its authorship must be clearly identified, in addition to being presented accompanied by a title and illustration.
The rules of participation establish that the stories sent must not exceed 350 words and must conform to the template provided, otherwise they will be discarded. The management of the initiative affirms the importance of all the stories “coming to life on stage.” of our university library, which plays an essential role in each narrative.”
At the time of writing the story, the staff of each center has made a series of videos in which participants can access the little-visited corners of these at the Rey Juan Carlos University. On the other hand, the BURJC It also provides some video tutorials, such as the video in which the journalism professor, Gustavo Montes, explains how to write a story.
The initiative is funded by the Faculty of Communication Sciences of the URJC, organized by the INECO Research Group, the NODOS Teaching Innovation Group and the University Library.
University students who participate in this activity will obtain a RAC recognition of 0 ECTS credits, as well as the exhibition of the story in libraries and the possibility of publishing the story in a book.
