The course, which is divided into five thematic modules, aims to address the situation in the workplace of lesbians, gays, bisexuals, trans, intersex and other gender minorities in order to avoid discrimination based on sexual orientation.

To pass the 'Mooc', students must pass a multiple choice exam at the end of each module. To do so, they will be able to use materials such as videos recorded by the Academic Content Production Unit that they will find on the platform. 'URJCX', managed by CIED. In addition, the teaching staff provides a teaching guide to the participants so that they can organize themselves individually.

The workshop will be attended by the professor of Social Anthropology and Social Psychology of the Complutense University of Madrid, José Ignacio Pichardo, the professor of Languages and Computer Systems at the URJC, Oriol Borrás and María Ortuño, deputy director of the Business Network for the LGBTI Diversity and Inclusion.

The students will have the opportunity to “generate and exchange information through dynamic activities such as participation in a LinkedIn group” so that it is “the 'Mooc' participant himself who generates content” highlights Oriol Borrás.

This introductory course is designed so that anyone, regardless of their training or previous experience on the subject, can easily follow it, so it is not necessary to have any type of qualification. It is free, with a duration of 25 hours and registration will be managed through this link
