The URJC signs an agreement with Legálitas

This morning, the rector of the URJC, Javier Ramos, and the CEO of Legálitas, Luís del Pozo Rivas, signed the collaboration agreement at the Vicálvaro campus facilities. “The idea of ​​this agreement arose during an institutional visit by Legálitas to our University,” explains María Teresa Enciso, dean of the Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences. 

Among these activities proposed in the agreement we find the cooperation of the entities in training programs, exchange of research and technical personnel, or the development of technological dissemination and innovation programs. All these lines of action seek the mutual benefit of the companies in the different competencies of the agreement. 

An example of this is the search for sponsorship and reciprocal collaboration in the different conferences, cycles, seminars or events organized by either of the two entities. ”On the one hand, we seek to bring our students closer to the labor market through professional internships, while at the same time we aspire to promote innovation and research in the field of law,” comments the dean, referring to the objectives of this agreement. 

“This agreement will benefit the university community,” explains Enciso, emphasizing the different powers of the agreement: “Firstly, it will offer our undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to do internships in the company; in addition to allowing access to knowledge and innovative tools in the field of “legaltech” and facilitating university participation in events such as conferences, seminars or workshops" concludes the dean.  

The duration of this agreement is indefinite and has come into force at the time of signing the agreement, presenting different lines of action that involve the two entities.
