These conferences, carried out by the Electronic Technology Area, through the BeST and Promise Laimbio laboratories, will show some technological innovations in the field of medicine.
These include applications of robotic exoskeletons, surgical navigation, applications of artificial intelligence in medical imaging, support technologies for visual and hearing disabilities, and 3D printing in hospital environments. In addition, thanks to Gogoa Mobility Robots, the conference will include a practical workshop on configuration and use of the Hank robotic exoskeleton.
The event will take place on February 29 and March 1 in the morning at the facilities of the Higher School of Experimental Sciences and Technology (ESCET), on the Móstoles campus.
The conferences are aimed at students from different engineering fields "to learn about the field of bioengineering and to sectors more related to medicine to come into contact with technological developments that can be applied to this field," the organization points out. Registration is also open to students from other universities.
