AULA is a space for educational guidance that brings together more than 239 companies and brands, and that welcomes more than 146.000 people each year, in addition to carrying out more than 230 activities related to the academic future. Families, students and schools attend this event with the expectation of consulting options for their academic future.

The opening ceremony took place in Pavilion 3 of the IFEMA exhibition center, near the URJC stand. The inauguration was attended by Diana Morant, Minister of Science, Innovation and Universities; and Pilar Alegría, Minister of Education and Vocational Training. In addition, the rectors and representatives of the various institutions present at AULA 2024 have participated, among whom is the rector of the URJC, Javier Ramos.

The event began with a group photo of the ministers with the representatives, followed by a tour of the stands of the different universities, schools and institutions present at the fair.

“The URJC is the most dynamic university in the Community of Madrid,” said Javier Ramos, who took the opportunity to highlight the institution's initiatives and successes, such as the Power-U project or successes in employability, stating that “it is "It is normal for future university students to come to be interested in the URJC."

Regarding the future, the rector has defined it as “spectacular” and, in addition to sending a clear message: “We must be very careful, because Spanish society will be in 20 years, what universities are today.” Likewise, Javier Ramos has highlighted the university's involvement in improving employment data in the Community of Madrid and in Spain in all areas of employment.

Finally, the rector wanted to mention the importance and benefits that events related to the student future provide. “There is a lot of effort here, there are many students, teachers and PAS who dedicate a lot of effort and many hours, but the impact is clearly positive” concludes the rector.
