From March 11 to April 2, the registration period for the 49th edition of the ICEX Scholarship Program is open, aimed at master's students, with the aim of providing professional guidance regarding internationalization. Last year, a total of 899 applicants registered for the program, of which 836 were admitted.
On the part of the URJC, there were 61 students who were able to enjoy this help. In addition, of the 300 students admitted to the 'Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Management', 23 belong to the URJC
The requirements to be able to enjoy this scholarship are: being under 28 years old, nationality of a country of the European Union, a level of English equal to or greater than a B2 and, finally, having a university degree. “And, above all, have a great desire to specialize in social environments,” they say from the organization of the program.
This master's degree is structured in 3 phases lasting one year, beginning with completing a Master's Degree in Business Internationalization Management, followed by internships in Spanish Economic and Commercial Offices abroad, and ending with internships in companies and International organizations.
María Paz Matesanz. responsible for the External Practices and Employment Unit of the URJC, has highlighted the importance of this opportunity for those interested students: “I believe that it is a very valuable opportunity for students to develop these necessary skills that allow them to work in institutions and international companies".
