This Thursday, April 18, the International Doctoral School (EID) celebrates this event with the aim of advising all people interested in starting their doctoral studies at the Rey Juan Carlos University.

After the bachelor's and master's degrees, the most widespread way to continue expanding studies is the doctorate. To help those who want to take that path, the Rey Juan Carlos University celebrates this Thursday the information days of your EID.

In these sessions that are held in online format, explains the director of the school, Pilar Abad, the students “will be able to learn what doctoral studies are, what structure the URJC International Doctoral School has and what the program is. doctorate that best suits the research they want to carry out.” In addition, she adds, “they will personally meet the members of the Academic Committees of the doctoral programs who will respond to all questions about the specific aspects of their program.”

Pilar Abad encourages anyone who wants to continue deepening their studies to take the step towards a doctorate at the URJC, “the doctorate represents the highest academic degree that can be aspired to in a discipline, achieving great advanced knowledge in a subject and the ability to carry out research independently, contributing to the development of society through new knowledge.”

Furthermore, the director points out that the EID has recently launched a space available to potential doctoral students and thesis directors with the aim of facilitating meeting points between the two.
