What knowledge will I acquire with this Master?
The objectives, contents and perspective of the proposed Master's in Public Administration Law constitute a novel aspect in the offer of degrees in Spain. To date, there were no university studies specifically aimed at students obtaining the knowledge and skills necessary for the development of the legal functions of the Public Administrations.

Recommended income profile
Students who have possession of an official Spanish university degree or another issued by a higher education institution of the European Higher Education Area that authorizes access to Master's degrees in the country that issued the degree.
Objectives
The objectives of the Master are focused on transmitting a good level of theoretical knowledge about the Law of Public Administrations, whose contents have undergone important changes in recent years with the appearance of new legal and organizational figures and institutions. Likewise, the different forms of administrative action on the current social and economic reality will be the object of study and analysis.
For all of the above, this Master is aimed primarily at public employees of the different Administrations, at Law professionals who work in the different areas of the Administrations and at all those professionals who seek to have a broad knowledge of Law and the functioning of Public Administrations. .

- CE05 - Detailed knowledge of the administrative structure in Spain of the General State Administration, the Autonomous Communities, Local Entities, Public Law Corporations and Institutional Entities and the ability to propose operational solutions in relation to the organization and intra and inter organic relationships.
- CE06 - Capacity for critical analysis and the subsequent proposal to modify the Spanish legal sources related to Administrative Law (legislation, jurisprudence, doctrine).

- CE16 - Ability to apply knowledge in practice, both by drafting administrative and contentious appeals, and by developing legal arguments.
- CE17 - Ability to interpret administrative and judicial texts, in particular, administrative resolutions and judicial sentences, and to prepare legal counter-arguments with the support of legal regulations.
- CE18 - In-depth knowledge of the contentious-administrative process in order to propose advanced legal solutions to the procedural problems that arise.
- CE19 - Ability to analyze some events produced by a Public Administration and issue a well-founded assessment of the success of the claim for patrimonial responsibility of the Public Administrations.

The requirements for access to the proposed title are according to article 16 of Royal Decree 1393/2007, modified by Royal Decree 861/2010, of July 2:
- In order to access the official Master's degrees, it will be necessary to be in possession of an official Spanish university degree or another issued by a higher education institution belonging to another Member State of the European Higher Education Area that authorizes the same for access to the teachings of Master.
- Likewise, graduates in accordance with educational systems outside the European Higher Education Area will be able to access without the need for homologation of their degrees, after verification by the University that they accredit a level of training equivalent to the corresponding official Spanish university degrees and that authorize in the country issuing the title for access to postgraduate education. Access through this route will not imply, in any case, the homologation of the previous title of which the interested party is in possession, nor its recognition for other purposes than that of studying the Master's degree.

The specific qualifications that will facilitate access to the Master are the following:

Where appropriate, if necessary, Assessment of the student's curriculum, based on their professional experience, their projection in relation to the objectives of the master's degree, as well as their academic record.
The preferred entry profiles for this master's degree are: Graduates in Law, Graduates in Law, Graduates in Political Science and Administration, who are at the beginning of their professional activity.
The selection of applicants is carried out by the Head of the Master and will be through the presentation of a standardized curriculum with the specific profile required. For the selection, criteria of professional experience, academic record and curriculum will be taken into account.
The weighting criteria in the event that the demand exceeds the supply of places are as follows:

Offer of places: 60 places. If the minimum number of students envisaged is not reached in a course, the University may choose not to open the teaching group.

The Quality Assurance System of the Rey Juan Carlos University establishes that the degree's Quality Assurance Commission will annually analyze the information derived from the degree's indicators and prepare a report that will include improvement plans if the results so indicate.
Renewal of accreditation
The renewal of the accreditation represents the culmination of the implementation process of the official Bachelor's and Master's degrees registered in the Register of Universities, Centers and Degrees (RUCT). The renewal of the accreditation of official bachelor's and master's degrees is organized in three phases: self-assessment report, external visit and final assessment.
In the first phase, the university describes and assesses the status of the degree with respect to the established criteria and guidelines. The result is the Self-Assessment Report (IA) that is presented. The second and third phases are carried out by a group of evaluators external to the evaluated title.”
