New technologies: Intranet, Virtual Classroom, Service Portal, URJC online
INTRANET URJC is configured as a meeting point for the University Community. To facilitate access to information and communication, it is articulated according to the different profiles and interest groups, offering different applications related to access to information, communication, teaching and learning, research and management. It is a web environment that allows personalized access to the resources and services offered by the university for students, professors and administration and services staff.
These are the main applications and sections of general interest that you can find as a student on the URJC INTRANET:
Information
The objective is to provide you, regardless of the Faculty, School, or Campus to which you belong, wherever you are, easy access to fundamental issues related to the organization of teaching, the cornerstone of the URJC; such as information and deadlines for enrollment, language tests, academic recognition of credits, final degree projects and external internships. You will also find information on all those issues necessary to be promptly informed of university life, seminars, conferences, sports, volunteering, etc.
Communication
Through the URJC INTRANET you will have access to the institutional email, with which all communications are made at the URJC, both to your teachers and to the different student services. You will be able to make this communication effective, both from the URJC's own computers, and from any computer, through the Internet.
Virtual Classroom
Virtual Classroom completes the training that is given in the classrooms, and constitutes a meeting point outside of them between teachers and students. Aula Virtual is aimed, on the one hand, at facilitating the student's learning process outside the classroom, since teachers can leave exercises, practices, and any information they deem necessary. On the other hand, it offers more autonomy to the teacher in the design and publication of study materials.
Service Portal
It allows administrative and academic procedures, such as consulting the academic record itself, to be carried out with maximum flexibility. You will have updated information on your file, your grades, your enrollment, etc., just a click away.
Library
La Library The Rey Juan Carlos University's mission is to support the process of student training and teacher research, through the management of information resources, and the access and dissemination of services and resources.
Language Center
Knowledge of languages facilitates access to new and better opportunities. The Language Center of our University not only prepares students to pass the subject of Modern Language, but also offers the possibility of mastering English, French, Spanish and other languages, and prepares students so that they can develop their future professional activity in the international labor market.
Quality guarantee
The bachelor's degrees, university master's degrees and doctoral programmes, that is, all the official URJC degrees have passed the verification process of the National Agency for Quality Assessment and are adapted to the regulations that regulate university education within the framework of the European Higher Education Area. Each degree is subject to a quality improvement procedure, integrated into the Internal Quality Assurance System of the Rey Juan Carlos University. This system is oriented towards the search for continuous improvement in teaching and the promotion of a culture of excellence. Organized in different processes of evaluation and evaluation of indicators, it is based on the participation of the entire University Community and on the transparency of the results.
