“Three decades have passed since the constitution of the National Conference of Deans of Medicine, the first university association of deans in our country, and we have celebrated it at the General Assembly in Malaga this weekend. They have been years of continuous work based on respect, consensus and autonomy. The deans and deans represent the work of the faculty, students and staff who have trained and have been trained to take care of the health of our society….

…We receive motivated students who we return to society as well-trained doctors and we must be more efficient, but right now we do not teach as we know, but as we can: We are concerned about generational change, we need teachers, and it is necessary to address, through multi-year programs, how to alleviate the deficit of teachers, especially those linked to health centers...

…The image of the Assembly has been the Farola de Málaga. A lamppost serves as a reference, a guide, it can be seen from far away… We maintain a commitment to equality in our centers in a medical profession in which women have an increasingly important role”.
