The pandemic was and continues to be a challenge for coexistence in public and private spaces in cities. Given this context, the Coliving Challenge invited participants to propose technical and creative solutions capable of generating a new housing concept. The 21 registered students could face the test from four main disciplines: graphic design, product design, space design and image management. There was also the possibility of doing it transversally to all of them. The winning proposals are focused on product design. The student Davinia Franco bets on the Bed On, Bed Off concept, based on an elevating bed that allows the space available in a room to be expanded. For their part, the students Laura González and Josemi Madrigal offer a modular piece of furniture that includes a hydroalcoholic gel dispenser and masks, and a repository of personal effects.
