CEDTUR aims to promote, improve and coordinate tourism studies at the undergraduate, master's and doctorate levels in the different faculties and schools, favoring cooperation, promoting university studies and research in the field of tourism and becoming interlocutor between the tourism sector and public authorities on issues that affect university tourism education.

In order to achieve these objectives, debate and exchange forums will be created, open to all Spanish universities on topics of interest for university education in the field of tourism, agreements will be adopted on matters of dean's competence, collective opinion will be expressed on issues that affect faculties, schools and deanships and collaboration will be strengthened with secondary and high school centers, the tourism sector and public organizations with competences in tourism.

Initially, the registered office will be located in the Faculty of Tourism of the University of Malaga, Antonio Guevara Plaza, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism of the University of Malaga, has been appointed president of the conference, who together with a management committee will be able to the same goes.

On the other hand, in Fitur 2021, held between May 19 and 23, students of our university's tourism degree have participated in different activities such as FiturTechY, a forum for innovation and tourism technology. In the same fair they have participated María Dolores Flecha Barrio and Lydia González at the Fitur Talent sessions and Professor Cristina Figueroa at Fiturext.
