The XXXI Edition of the Pladur® Constructive Solutions Contest, has had for the first time the participation of the works of the students of the Degree in Fundamentals of Architecture of the Rey Juan Carlos University, in the two campuses in which the Degree in Fundamentals of Architecture is developed through the figure of two coordinators: José María Echarte at the Fuenlabrada campus and María Elena Escudero at the Aranjuez campus.

The presentation of said Contest took place on November 4, 2020, at which time the bases were published on which the students officially enrolled in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, PFC and Qualifying Master's courses of all the Technical Schools Superiors and Faculties of Architecture from Spain and Portugal registered in this edition had to work on the presentation of a project in which “the use of Pladur® construction systems was developed, promoting synergies between the Company and the University, thus seeking collaboration with all institutions close to architecture, in order to encourage and promote the practice of architecture, teamwork and to make known the new values ​​of architecture”. 

The decision of the URJC Local Jury took place on April 30, 2021. No results were obtained at the Fuenlabrada campus in this edition. The following local prizes were awarded at the Aranjuez campus:

-       Its innovative proposal in the resolution of spaces with elongated pieces separated by translucent walls and its promotion of accessibility through distribution corridors and ramps.

The winners of the First Local Prize of the URJC Aranjuez chose in the Jury the Award for the Best Architecture Project, Best Construction Solution Award and BIM Mention, not being able to get any of them this time.
