Inauguration of the Arte Trazos VII exhibition

Posted by Redaction FCJS

Last Wednesday, March 9 at 12 noon, the opening ceremony of the seventh edition of our TRAZOS art exhibition took place.

Once again, the Arturo Soria Plaza shopping center has opened its doors to us, allowing us to give visibility to the creative expression of a total of 76 artists who are members of the art and creativity workshops of our 13 centers for people with intellectual disabilities.

The opening ceremony was chaired by the Manager of the Madrid Agency for Social Care, José Manuel Miranda de las Heras, together with the Managing Director of C:C: Arturo Soria Plaza, José López-Guerra.

We have the presence of the curators of the exhibition, Pablo Prieto, Vice Dean of Delegated Teaching Units and Intercampus Coordination of the Faculty of Legal and Social Sciences; Raquel Sardá, Coordinator of the URJC Fine Arts degree and Ruth Remartinez, professor at the URJC Faculty of Fine Arts.

After the opening remarks, the visit to the exhibition was enlivened by a string music trio made up of musicians from the young JORCAM orchestra

A display of free creativity where the color and shapes of a perfect imperfection present us with new definitions of art.

In this new edition, TRAZOS puts before our eyes 96 works that speak for themselves, whispers, voices, screams and emotions captured with watercolors, markers, pastels or colored pencils... Stories to listen to from silence as we look at them.

The exhibition will remain mounted until next Tuesday, March 22.
