The initiative, carried out by the Vice-Rector for Campus Community, Culture and Sports of the URJC, consists of carrying out an essay in which AI is critically analyzed from all areas of daily life. The works must have an original personal reflection on this technological phenomenon and its impact on human development, addressing philosophical, ethical, legal, educational or any other aspects.

Any member of the university community of the Rey Juan Carlos University may participate in the activity and the works may be individually or collectively authored, up to a maximum of four co-authors.

From the direction of the project they affirm that the University "must remain attentive to the reality that surrounds it and contribute to the public debate on relevant issues that affect society." Furthermore, they add that: “Our university cannot remain impassive in the face of the questions raised by its vigorous and delicate development.”

The winner of the Artificial Intelligence contest will receive a prize of 200 euros, as well as an honorary diploma and the publication of their essay. The four finalists will also receive an honorary diploma.

The way to present the essay will be through the electronic headquarters, entering the electronic registry. Once registered, they must attach the essay, the form and Annex 1 completed and signed.
