OSCE

The Degree in Psychology has a final test of Structured Objective Clinical Assessment (ECOE) consisting of the objective evaluation of the student's ability to apply the skills acquired throughout the degree.

External Internships

External academic internships constitute an activity of a formative nature carried out by university students and supervised by the universities, whose objective is to allow them to apply and complement the knowledge acquired in their academic training, favoring the acquisition of skills that prepare them for the exercise of professional activities, facilitate their employability and promote their entrepreneurial capacity.

The Degree in Psychology at the Rey Juan Carlos University is characterized by the number of internship hours and the diversity of its internship offer that it offers to its students. Proof of this is that students must take two internship courses, which will add up to 500 total hours of internship in centers, probably the largest number of hours of practical training offered by a university.

Likewise, one of its internship subjects is of a clinical-sanitary nature, taking place in health-hospital centers, which means that all our students will be trained in these skills and knowledge. The second internship course offers our students the possibility of training in different fields related to psychology. In this way, the fundamental characteristics of the subjects of external practices are:

  • The External Internships I subject aims to develop this principle, also trying to offer a training course through internships in centers where practical training in Clinical and Health Psychology is ensured, in line with the general provisions for Degrees in Psychology by Order CNU/1309/2018 of December 5, which regulates the general conditions to which the study plans of the Degree in Psychology will be adjusted. To this end, the Practicum I course offers the student internships in multidisciplinary health care services, such as hospitals, primary care centers, day hospitals, mental health units, family planning units, or other multidisciplinary health care services. where psychological care is provided.
  • The External Practices II subject aims to complement the PRACTICE I subject with a set of practical experiences in the traditional fields of professional practice in Psychology: clinical and health (except multidisciplinary centers that correspond to the PRACTICE I subject), educational, neuropsychological, organizational, community and intervention and social care, as well as in the field of research.

Mobility programs

ERASMUS

The Erasmus program makes it easy for URJC students -both undergraduate and postgraduate- to study one or several semesters at one of the European universities with which the URJC has agreements.

These exchanges traditionally have an economic endowment thanks to the Erasmus Scholarships provided by the EU and the Spanish Ministry of Education.

WORLD

The Munde program manages mobility with universities from countries not included in the Erasmus Program.

The possibility of obtaining a scholarship or economic endowment and its amount depends, in each case, on the agreements with the universities, countries or entities that sign it.

The result is the Self-Assessment Report (IA) that is presented. The second and third phases are carried out by a group of evaluators external to the evaluated title.
