The proposal facilitates the insertion into the labor market of the center's students thanks to the experience obtained by taking charge of different cases.

La legal clinic of the Rey Juan Carlos University offers free legal advice to people at risk of social exclusion and to the entities that represent them. The project, which has been approved by the University Office of Service Learning aims to provide interns at the center with a first contact with the world of work and improve their future job opportunities.

The operation of the initiative is simple. Applications arrive at the clinic via email or through the non-profit entities that collaborate with the center. The case is then assigned to a student or a group of students who, with the help of a mentor or university professor, try to find a feasible solution to the client's claim.

Once a possible solution has been found, the student arranges an interview with the user and collects the necessary documentation and informs him of the possible solutions found. Finally, after studying the case, the student prepares a report with the conclusions reached and the final recommendations to solve the legal problem.

In this way, the legal clinic provides a social function to people who cannot acquire the services of an ordinary lawyer and, at the same time, offers interns an experience that will help them in their future work.
