Objectives

The Master's Degree in Development of Neurocognitive Techniques in Business Organizations: Neuromanagement includes:

  • On the one hand, key organizational aspects for good business management that guarantee success and competitiveness within the framework of cognitive neuroscience;
  • On the other hand, the management of people from the new organizational paradigm, as one of the most relevant organizational factors due to the complexity of its nature. The human being is a complex being that must be managed individually while taking into account their influence on the creation of company value.

Competences

General:

  • Training to know how to apply the knowledge acquired to solve problems in new or little-known environments, within contexts related to their area of ​​study.
  • Training to integrate knowledge and face the complexity of formulating judgments based on information, which includes reflections on the social and ethical responsibilities linked to the application of their knowledge and judgments.
  • Train to communicate their conclusions, to specialized and non-specialized audiences, in a clear and unambiguous way.
  • Acquire the skills in learning that will allow them to continue studying in a way that will be, to a large extent, self-directed or autonomous.
  • Train to analyze, synthesize, assess and make decisions based on the relevant records of information on the situation and foreseeable evolution of a company.

Specific:

  • Acquire theoretical and practical knowledge of the new organizational paradigm and its implementation in the company.
  • Acquire theoretical and practical knowledge of business management under the new paradigm, as well as develop practical problem-solution schemes for people management situations in organizational environments.
  • Training in the identification of business management problems by applying brain knowledge, as well as learning the techniques of integration and management of human resources, and managing human teams in business contexts from cognitive neuroscience.
  • Acquire practice in organizational management, through new tools, methodologies and skills in neuromanagement.
  • Acquire theoretical and practical knowledge of labor practice in the company, as well as develop practical schemes of problems-solutions of labor conflict situations under the perspective of the new paradigm of the business fabric.
  • Training in business and labor negotiation, as well as in the new identification of labor problems in the company.
  • Acquire theoretical and practical knowledge of the managerial function, and development of the ability to synthesize a practical scheme of problem-solutions of organizational design situations.

  • Understand how to carry out research applying neurocognitive techniques to the business environment, in a coherent and productive way, through the application of knowledge regarding methods, processes, types of scientific research, how to formulate hypotheses, design research, and write a proposal final.
  • Understanding of the fundamentals of the selection of people and the applicable bases for it from neuromanagement.

  • Acquire communication and coordination skills for the deployment of the Neuro-Strategy.
  • Develop a realistic approach to the situation an organization is in with the aim of understanding the challenges the organization is facing.

  • Learn to put into operation the collective intelligence of an organization, in order to develop the necessary capacities to be able to achieve the vision as the final objective of the Neuro-Strategy.

  • Clear vision of the consequences of Non-Ethical conduct, and what it has represented for people, organizations and civilizations throughout time.

Admission and enrollment

Admission:

The requirements for access to the proposed title are according to article 18, of Royal Decree 822/2021, of September 28:

  1. Possession of an official Spanish Graduate or Graduate university degree or equivalent is a condition for accessing a Master's Degree, or, where appropriate, having another University Master's degree, or titles of the same level as the Spanish Bachelor's or Master's degree issued by universities and higher education institutions in an EHEA country that in that country allow access to Master's degrees.
  2. In the same way, people in possession of titles from educational systems that are not part of the EHEA, which are equivalent to a Bachelor's degree, will be able to access a Master's Degree in the Spanish university system, without the need for homologation of the title, but verification by of the university of the level of training that they imply, as long as in the country where said title was issued it allows access to university postgraduate level studies. In no case will access through this route imply the homologation of the previous degree held by the person concerned or its recognition for other purposes than that of carrying out the Master's degree.

Candidate selection:

The selection of the applicants is carried out by the Heads of the Master and will be through the presentation of a standardized curriculum with the specific profile required. The selection process of the same will begin by verifying that they meet the requirements established by current legislation and regulations, continuing with an evaluation of their academic record and, where appropriate, professional, knowledge, experience, etc. (by analyzing the documentation provided and following the model in force at the School for postgraduate students)
The selection will be completed through the application of a communication and writing test in Spanish, all of which will be followed by a personal interview with each candidate.
The weighting of the different admission criteria is shown below:

  • Candidate's Curriculum Vitae (40%)
  • Personal interview (50%)
  • Written writing and communication test in Spanish (10%)

The application of the above criteria will necessarily result in elimination in the following cases:

  • The absence of the required prior qualification (or other possible requirements that may be required by current legislation);
  • For students whose mother tongue is not Spanish, failure to pass the communication and writing test in that language at a minimally acceptable level that guarantees adequate follow-up of the program (level similar to the DELE Superior of the Cervantes Institute).

Offer of places: 30 seats. If the minimum number of students envisaged is not reached in a course, the University may choose not to open the teaching group.

External Internships

The External Practices subject is a curricular subject whose main objective is to promote a comprehensive training of the student through the practical application of the knowledge acquired during the Master's degree, which facilitates direct contact with the professional activity and the opportunity to join the professional world with a minimum of experience. All practices are designed so that the students who participate in them acquire professional experience in real situations and conditions, applying the knowledge, skills and attitudes that are acquired in the training processes throughout the degree. The internships represent a decisive opportunity for the personal development and professional future of the students.

Internships are activities carried out by the student in companies, institutions and organizations; that is, in centers outside the university premises, which aim to enrich and complement their university education, while providing them with a deeper knowledge about the skills they will need in the future.

The External Practices subject will consist of two phases.

First. Completion of the internship period that offers professional experience related to any of the profiles that are expressed in the Verification Report of the degree.

Renewal of accreditation

The renewal of the accreditation represents the culmination of the implementation process of the official Bachelor's and Master's degrees registered in the Register of Universities, Centers and Degrees (RUCT). The renewal of the accreditation of official bachelor's and master's degrees is organized in three phases: self-assessment report, external visit and final assessment.

In the first phase, the university describes and assesses the status of the degree with respect to the established criteria and guidelines. The result is the Self-Assessment Report (IA) that is presented. The second and third phases are carried out by a group of evaluators external to the evaluated title.”
