The III Edition of the 'GameGen' congress kicks off at the Rey Juan Carlos University. An opportunity for students and industry to meet.
The Faculty of Communication Sciences of the Rey Juan Carlos University hosts this morning the presentation of the document to deal with childhood from the media. Future journalists, audiovisual communicators, advertisers and teachers expand their learning with this UNICEF training initiative.
   More than 40 students of the Computer Engineering degree from the Madrid Campus have worked together with students from the Juan XXIII Roncalli Foundation to improve the accessibility of mobile applications.  
The URJC and the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI), located in Canada, have signed this Monday 19, a collaboration agreement to bring positions closer and collaborate in research, both in technological, scientific and artistic matters.

Easyjet inaugurates the 'Marketing Week' of the URJC

From today until Friday, February 23, marketing students are launching this event for the third consecutive year at the Rey Juan Carlos University. Easyjet's marketing manager, José Pedro Da Silva, will open the week of presentations this Monday with a talk at the Madrid Campus at 13:00 p.m.
Through a research project, the professors of the Rey Juan Carlos University, Sagrario Morán and Castor Díaz Barrado, pose the future challenges of the UN Security Council. The work was awarded by the Institute of Strategic Studies for the analysis of international relations scenarios.

Diabetes under study, at the Alcorcón Campus

This Thursday the Rey Juan Carlos University hosts the fifth edition of the presentations organized by the Madrid Society of Community Family Medicine (SoMaMFyC). In eight workshops the conclusions of the experts are collected, which help the investigation of diabetes.
From March 6 to 9, the III Conference 'Creativity & Business' will be held at the URJC. In them, the best young university talent in the Community of Madrid will have to solve a challenge proposed by important companies in the personnel selection, consultancy or education sectors.
The professor of Fine Arts at the Rey Juan Carlos University will exhibit nine of his works in oil on canvas in this exhibition. His paintings can be seen at the contemporary art fair in the capital from February 21 to 25.
Starting next February 19, the university community will have a new program to promote physical activity at the Alcorcón Campus. The workshop is aimed at all those people who wish to develop their creative qualities at a motor and expressive level.
The theme, in this third edition of the conference, revolves around the beauty of the body in artistic practices such as cinema, dance and acting, among others. Conferences, debates, workshops and exhibitions will take place the first two days of March at the Rey Juan Carlos University.
The entrepreneurs Borja Frías and Sergio Rojo will be the first speakers of the series of conferences that will begin this Wednesday at 15:00 p.m. at the Madrid Campus. The initiative is organized by the subject of Restoration, of the Degree in Protocol, of the URJC.

Investigative journalism at the Madrid Campus

Joaquín Castellón, Pilar Velasco, Óscar López Fonseca, Antonio Maestre and Antonio Rubio, among others, will participate in the 'I Seminar on Investigative Journalism' which is being held this Thursday at the Madrid Campus.
This morning the Campus89 activity took place at the Madrid Campus. An initiative with which UNICEF and the URJC defend the rights of minors who are recruited daily to participate in armed conflicts.
