The students, Cristina Moreno and Alejandro Bellanco, have beaten 29 other couples from schools throughout Spain in the tournament held this weekend. The debates have dealt with feminism, the environment and security, among other topics.
The photographic exhibition will be present from this Monday until March 2 in the Library of Fuenlabrada. The works, which portray the drama of the refugees, can be visited from Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 20:30 p.m.

The spin off DESILICO enters the international market

The teachers of the URJC, founders of DESILICO, are associated with the American company Seddi. An entity with experience in the textile technology sector and in investment funds that, from now on, will protect the patent at an international level. The North American company, which has a 95% stake in DESILICO, will invest one and a half million euros to promote it in the United States.
'LaLiga Business School' also has the collaboration of Centro de Estudios Garrigues. It will start operating in 2018 and will serve to train future professionals in all fields of sports management.
Having a minimum of 45 ECTS credits is one of the requirements to apply for one of these SICUE mobility grants. Applications for the next course can be submitted from February 13 to March 13.
The Executive Committee of the Campus of International Excellence has met at the URJC Rector's Office to address the proposals planned for 2018, such as the launch of the COFUTURO Network. During the meeting, a balance was also made of the activities carried out last year.
The Campus Library team has wrapped books and movies in newsprint and placed them in prominent locations throughout the building for patrons to take without knowing their contents.

The UNESCO-Unitwin Network reaches Manuel Becerra

The Rey Juan Carlos University will host, this weekend, the IX Meeting on tourism among 25 Universities and Chairs of the UNESCO-Unitwin Network. The sessions will take place at the Madrid-Manuel Becerra headquarters and it will be the first time they are held at the URJC.
The former minister and spokesman for the socialist group in Congress, Carlos Solchaga, inaugurates this afternoon the III Permanent Seminar, at the Faculty of Legal and Social Sciences (FCJS) of the Madrid Campus. This is an initiative developed by the URJC Parliamentary Monarchy Chair.

Enrollment open for 76 university master's degrees

Next Monday, February 12, the first registration period for the Rey Juan Carlos University master's degrees opens. The period covers official degrees and will allow students to opt for a place for the next academic year before finishing their degree.
The URJCMun 2018 event replicates the operation of the different United Nations agencies. Each participant represents a country and participates in different discussion and debate committees. The event is held at the Móstoles Campus.

The third edition of this event begins on February 19 at the Rey Juan Carlos University. For five days, the Madrid, Móstoles, Aranjuez and Fuenlabrada campuses will host presentations by marketing professionals.

The women's rugby team in 3rd position in the CAM

For eight years, some twenty female students have made up the women's rugby team at the Rey Juan Carlos University. Today they are classified in third place in the regional championship of universities in the Community of Madrid. They train every Friday at the Alcorcón Campus and often play friendly matches with other university centres.
Under the motto "a place in the world", the young artists have made interpretations of the city of Madrid from photography, painting, sculpture, digital illustration and installations.
