Born on February 1, 1981 in Palencia, he is married and has a daughter and a son. 

Lawyer and economist registered in Madrid. He has a law degree from the Complutense University, a degree in Business Administration and Management and a Master's in Administrative Law from the Rey Juan Carlos University. 

He is currently a Non-Resident Fellow at SAIS (School of Advanced International Studies) at Johns Hopkins University in Washington, and has been a visiting professor at the Global Leadership and Competiveness Program at Georgetown University. 

He has completed his academic training with the DGP of the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, the CLS of the Government Affairs Institute of Georgetown University, the PLGP of IESE, the PLPE of Deusto Business School, the PGP of Instituto de Empresa and the IEB Financial Markets Course. 

From 2009 to 2012 he was director of the cabinet of the former President of the Government of Spain, José María Aznar. From 2007 to 2009 he was Deputy of the Assembly of Madrid, Spokesperson for Justice and Public Administrations and Deputy Spokesperson for Budgets and Finance of the Popular Parliamentary Group.
