Lucía works as an Institutional Communication and CSR Technician at Leroy Merlin Spain. In addition, she collaborates in the coordination and implementation of the Institutional Communication Plan and in the different actions of Social Action and Corporate Social Responsibility, developed from the different stores and areas of the company.
Previously he had done some other work, but he recognizes that this has been his first important professional experience. He came to the company through the compulsory internship of the Degree in Advertising and once finished, he joined the staff in the position that he has currently held for two and a half years.
In his opinion, today it is very important to face the labor market with good preparation and training, due to the scarce job offer that exists as a result of the economic crisis. In this sense, he affirms that the university has not only provided him with an essential knowledge base for the performance of a profession in the future, but has also allowed him to live all kinds of experiences with colleagues and professors from which he has learned a lot for his future. life, personally and at work.
He recalls his time at the Rey Juan Carlos University as the moment in which, although still a student, you begin to be "more of an adult" and realize many things, discover where you want to direct your life and, above all, develop skills as important as teamwork and perseverance.
