Martha Diaz Red

Bachelor of Business Administration and Management, Vicálvaro 2013.

Extraordinary end-of-course award.

Supervising Senior Consultant at KPMG.

Despite her youth, Marta occupies the category of Supervising Senior Consultant in strategic and business consulting at KPMG thanks to a fast career that began in 2013 with a scholarship the last year of my degree. Since then, he has participated in major merger and transformation processes of major international companies, including:

  • Operational integration of the three Western European Coca-Cola bottlers, creating the world's largest independent Coca-Cola bottler by revenue (year 2016).
  • Calculation of post-integration operating synergies for the IPO process of the Coca-Cola European Partners Group in June 2016.
  • Advice on the outsourcing process of the Finance and HR functions of the Telefónica Group in 8 LATAM countries, year 2015.
  • Optimization of the value chain of the STL Group, which manages the Carolina Herrera & Purificación García brands, in 2014 and 2015.
  • Strategic transformation of the Management Control function of the El Corte Inglés group, in 2014.
  • Operational and corporate integration of the 8 Coca-Cola bottlers present in the Iberian Peninsula, years 2013 and 2014.
  • Due diligence of the assets transferred by the nationalized entities to Banco Sareb, during the restructuring process of the Spanish banking sector, in 2013.

This position requires a high level of quality, effort, responsibility, flexibility, innovation and international mobility, which for Marta is a great daily challenge both professionally and personally.

Going through university is one of the best memories of Marta's life, the existence of professors committed to transmitting their knowledge in a practical way and the facility to complement studies with language courses, technical skills and practicing sports.

“The most positive memories I have of the URJC are the variety of programs that exist to promote international exchanges: Erasmus, Munde, Disney Program, among others”
