Degree in Advertising and Public Relations, Fuenlabrada 2010.

- Responsible for Communication of Volvo Trucks, belonging to VOLVO GROUP.

Pilar is in charge of managing the brand's external communication with the media, in a sector as important and competitive as the automobile sector. Within communication, she is also responsible for editing the Corporate Magazine, campaigns, organizing local events, etc. She and she is also the direct contact with the headquarters located in Sweden and with all the departments of the company.

He has previously worked in various organizations in the field of communication, strategy and project management. His professional career has been developed mainly in advertising agencies, which has allowed him to work on projects of all kinds combining online and offline, as well as dealing with clients from all sectors (mass consumption, media, beauty, toys, etc. .)

During the degree, he did internships in two large companies such as Publicis y Publishing Unit. And in the fourth year of the degree, he decided to leave for Erasmus in Rome where he also did internships in a communication agency. When he returned to Spain, he worked for four years in an Advertising Agency and before joining Volvo Trucks, spent two years working in an Italian company, dedicating himself exclusively to designing the strategy, creating and developing a B2B platform for a multinational in the tourism sector.

He considers that the knowledge about the world of communication, advertising and public relations that he acquired at the Rey Juan Carlos University was essential, where he took the opportunity to attend numerous talks and conferences, such as the one given by the VOLVO Marketing Director on security, a company in which she is currently Communications Manager at Volvo Trucks. At the same time, she completed her training in other areas such as Marketing and Personal Branding, among others and she dedicated as much time as she could to strengthening her language skills.

She has good memories of her time at the university and is proud to have studied here, among other things, because she considers that she is more advanced in digital matters, because of the close treatment she received from the faculty, the friends she made and that she still has and the facilities that were offered to carry out internships in the companies that she proposed.

Honestly, I am very happy to have studied at the URJC... When I returned in August from spending a month in the United States, it was clear to me that I wanted to study at a public university and the one I liked the most was Rey Juan Carlos”.
