Hector Mata Recuenco

Degree in Marketing, Madrid-Vicalvaro 2015.

- Project Manager at Grupo Barceló (B the travel brand). Responsible for the areas of marketing, strategy and digital development.

Héctor works at B the travel brand (Grupo Barceló), leading digital transformation projects, customer-focused marketing strategies and user experience. He is one of those responsible for the group's new division (Viaja Wäy), with which Barceló intends to get closer to younger customers who are looking for a new relationship model with travel agencies and unique travel experiences.

He also has several personal projects in which he helps companies from different sectors, throughout the process of technological change and adaptation to new models.

In addition, Héctor actively collaborates with the Rey Juan Carlos University, helping students of different degrees to understand all the changes and opportunities offered by digitization, as well as its tools. He being invited by the university in different conferences and presentations throughout the academic year.

His time at the university was intense and very enriching for him, it allowed him to lay the foundations of knowledge and the structuring of essential content in his current profession. He also positively values ​​the model that the URJC has of proximity between students and classmates, as well as the continuous internships and teamwork; which in the day to day of classes, help to bring the challenges of the labor market infinitely closer. In this sense, he highlights the more than 30 team works and exhibitions that he did in the 4 years of the Degree.

 

I remember my entire time at university as an intense and very enriching time, which helped me lay the foundations of knowledge and structure of the contents.
