Graduate in Law and Diploma in Public Administration Management, Vicálvaro Campus, (2007 – 2012)

His professional experience falls within the field of diplomacy, institutional relations and protocol. In this sense, he has ten years of experience in the coordination of institutional events at an international level, specializing in advice, team training and execution of protocol matters, as well as in dialogue with foreign authorities and dignitaries.

He has directed high-level activities for NATO, the European Commission, the Spanish Ministry of Defense, the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, FIIAPP, L'Observatoire National des Droits de l'Enfant (ONDE) and Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) directing activities in Spain, France, Lithuania, United Kingdom, Colombia, Uruguay, Chile, United States, Morocco and Equatorial Guinea.

Founder and president of the Spanish Youth Atlantic Council from 2013 to 2017, he was also the Spanish delegate to the NATO Emerging Leaders Working Group (Washington, D.C.), an advisory body to the Secretary General of NATO.

He is currently in Connecticut, United States, as a visiting professor at Fairfield University, in charge of the lecture series “Spanish Legacy in the United States of America.”

During his academic period he actively collaborated with the Dean of the Faculty of Legal and Social Sciences, was an elected member of the University Senate and led multiple activities in order to energize the university community as a whole.

He also has a diploma in International Studies from the L'Institut d'études politiques de Paris (Sciences Po) and a Master's degree in Foreign Policy from the International University of Valencia.

Sergio advises everyone who is going through this university stage to enjoy the process, take advantage of their opportunities and never give up.
