The Vice-Rectorate for Students, Employability and Entrepreneurship held a meeting this week with representatives of student associations at URJC, in an event that combined presentations, dialogue and a relaxed breakfast.
The Alcorcón campus hosted the presentation of the book 'Good Practices in Assisting Victims of Trafficking' on Tuesday, March 10th. The book compiles experiences and analyses from experts across five continents. During the event, Civil Guard Captain Félix Durán Garrido was also recognized for his commitment to combating human trafficking.
Promoted by professors from the EIF, it can be visited, until Friday, March 20, in the lobby of the management building on the Fuenlabrada campus.
Next Saturday, March 14, the Rey Juan Carlos University will host a new edition of the Economics Olympiad at the Vicálvaro Campus, a joint competition organized by the five public universities of Madrid.

A workshop to improve negotiation and sales skills

The webinar will be led by Enrique Redondo, an international trainer and speaker, and an expert in sales and negotiation.
The rector, Abraham Duarte, and the mayor of the pottery-making municipality signed the agreement this Tuesday at the Town Hall of the municipality south of Madrid.

Jesús Sánchez sponsors the degree in Gastronomy

This prestigious chef has become the godfather of the future first graduating class in Gastronomy at URJC, the first public university in the Community of Madrid to offer this degree.
The Alcorcón Campus will celebrate this day on March 6th, a free cultural initiative aimed at the entire university community that proposes a dialogue between literature, health sciences and life experience through round tables and readings by guest authors.
The Vice-Rectorate for Social Responsibility, Culture and Sport, in coordination with the Area that deals with this matter, and its different university services have organized a series of activities aimed at the entire university community with the objective of promoting equality and the visibility of women in different social areas.
