The 2nd edition of the Juan Antonio Maroto Acín International SME Award leaves as the winner a project that analyzes different combinations of two corporate strategies that improve the results of SMEs
On November 2, the 'III International Congress of Minors and Social Media: Emotional Health and Vulnerabilities' will be held on the Madrid-Vicálvaro campus of the URJC. 
The work deals with issues related to the adaptation of products and services to the needs of consumers over 50 years of age.
The event will take place on November 2 and is celebrated on the occasion of the exhibition 'Augmented ecofeminisms: climate, water and women' organized by the Gender and Science Group of the Iberian Association of Limnology. The exhibition is financed by the Ministry of Equality. 
CRUE Sustainability, at its XXXIII conference held in Valencia, has recognized the work of the Rey Juan Carlos University for its way of incorporating sustainability into teaching. The URJC has also received the 'Global Recognition of Environmental Sustainability in Spanish Universities 2022'.
October 29 was Homeless Day.
This morning the Fuenlabrada campus hosted an informative day on the 'New European Bauhaus' initiative, heir to the interwar architectural movement. 
The research of teachers and researchers María Zapata Cáceres and Sergio Pérez Peló have been recognized with two second prizes in the 'Talent and Technology Awards', organized by the Madrid city council.

A day shows how to prevent and act in the event of a stroke

Yesterday, October 25, 2023, the 'URJC against stroke' conference was held on the Móstoles campus. The event has been organized by Fundación Freno al Ictus and the Rey Juan Carlos University. 
The Rey Juan Carlos University and the Technische Hoschule Lübeck organize the '7th Annual Madrid Conference on Austrian Economics'. The event will serve to pay tribute to the professor of Political Economy at the URJC and the main reference of this school of economic thought in Spain, Jesús Huerta de Soto.
